Greenlight Young Readers Book Group discusses There’s a Boy in the Girls’ Bathroom by Louis Sachar

Greenlight Young Readers Book Group, led by Greenlight bookseller and former teacher Brette, is geared toward kids ages 8 to 14, and will read great contemporary and classic chapter books. Parents are welcome (but not required) to attend; pizza is served for everyone.

For February, the book group discusses Louis Sachar’s novel There’s a Boy in the Girls’ Bathroom. Bradley Chalkers may be the weirdest kid in school, but he's not completely hopeless! The triumph of this terrific character, a weird, insecure bully of the fifth grade, will appeal to every reader who's cheered for--or been--the underdog.
