Fort Green Park Conservancy hosts David Swain at Greenlight

David Swain, editor of Thomas Dring's Recollections of Life on the Prison Ship Jersey is in conversation with Norman Ryan from the Fort Greene Park Conservancy.

In one of the darkest moments of the American Revolutionary War, captured American soldiers were jailed on British prison ships in the East River, and thousands died.

Swain reads from the book and talks about the manuscript with Norman Ryan from the Fort Greene Park Conservancy, the organization that helps maintain the park and the monument.
