Sat, May 19, 2012 at 1pm

This year marks the 16th anniversary of the BAM/Bedford Stuyvesant Restoration Corporation partnership. Through this collaboration, more than 4,000 students have been given the opportunity to study the performing, visual, and literary arts as well as the cultural history of several countries in Africa and the African diaspora. This year’s program culminates with public performances at Restoration Plaza and on the BAM stage.

Bedford Stuyvesant Restoration Corporation, the nation’s first community development corporation, is dedicated to improving the quality of life of the people of Central Brooklyn and fostering growth and development through economic, cultural, educational, and social ventures.
