Brooklyn Premiere of "More Than A Month"

Brooklyn premiere of the film “More Than A Month,” a film by Shukree Hassan Tilghman. The 29 year-old African American filmmaker sets out on a cross-country campaign to end Black History Month. Through this tongue-in-cheek journey, he investigates what the treatment of history tells us about race and equality in a “post-racial” America. Free and open to the public.

This screening is presented in recognition of Black History Month. Sponsored by LIU Brooklyn (Office of the Provost, Africana Studies Program and Kumble Theater) and YWCA of Brooklyn in association with WNET and ITVS.

RSVP to info@kumbletheater.org or Kumble Box Office 718-488-1624. For additional information email community@brooklyn.liu.edu.
