“The film upends expectations at every turn, from the defiantly nontouristic views of Buenos Aires to the tough, unsparing conclusions the story reaches about its adrift protagonist.”—Keith Uhlich, Time Out New York

A young American artist shacks up in a Buenos Aires guesthouse and ambles his way through the urban landscape in search of an ex-flame, evading work constraints, befriending local skater-musicians, and half-pursuing a courtship with the literal girl next door (BAMcinemaFest alum Sophia Takal). Writer, director, and star Weintraub’s (Bummer Summer) second micro-budget feature is an airy, exquisitely composed tone poem of aimless expat life in "La Reina Del Plata."
