From the same team as Beasts of the Southern Wild, Tchoupitoulas is a poetic, sensual odyssey through a single night in New Orleans. Experienced through the eyes of three young brothers who miss their ferry home and are left stranded in the Crescent City, the Rosses' (SXSW Best Documentary award winner 45365) latest film follows its characters through abandoned steamships, cacophonous streets, and dimly lit nightclubs as they encounter musicians, revelers, drag queens, and hustlers—the nocturnal creatures that quicken the heartbeat of this vibrant cultural mecca. Tchoupitoulas was an official selection of Silverdocs and SXSW.
