Due to unforeseen circumstances, the Smyrk will no longer be playing on June 8. The Brooklyn-based post-punk band Bachslider will be performing instead.
Bachslider is fronted by vocalist/bassist Honeychild Coleman, a prolific musician and DJ who has worked with luminaries such as Mad Professor, DJ Olive, and Badawi; toured with the Slits; and was recently featured on the soundtrack of the groundbreaking Sundance prizewinning Brooklyn film Pariah directed by Dee Rees (executive producer Spike Lee).
