Drumline
Directed by Charles Stone III

(PG-13) 118min

Nick Cannon stars as Devon, a New York street drummer who attends Atlanta A&T, a historically all-black college where, during football games, halftime is game time. Refusing to conform to the uptight style of the marching band, Devon challenges the status quo while adjusting to college life, the South, and his new girlfriend (Zoe Saldana) in this “bouncy, boisterous and charming” film (The New York Times).

In this third installment of the Step Up trilogy, an NYU freshman juggles school with his true passion as he leads a dance team in the World Jam competition.
