Dec. 8: The Life and Times of Merce Cunningham at BAM

Iconic artist series focuses on the works of legendary choreographer.

1. Part of BAM 150 and the Next Wave Festival, reflects on over a half-century’s worth of performances with Trevor Carlson, executive director of the company founded by the legendary dancer and choreographer. Tonight at 6 p.m., BAM Harvey Theater.

2. BRIC Arts' continues today from noon to 6 p.m. at 647 Fulton St.

3. Gov. Andrew Cuomo's plan to overhaul the state's tax system, including a decrease in rates paid by most residents, won final approval by the Assembly earlier today. The state Senate gave its assent to the measure yesterday.
