Let's take a look at what's going on in the Brooklyn arts corridor this week, specifically at BRIC House and BAM:
At BRIC House: Ho Ho Ho with Yule Log 2.0. There are many, many people in Brooklyn who do not have a fireplace to gather around during the holiday season. This week, at BRIC House, you can get your fireplace fix with Yule Log 2.0. Anytime between 1 p.m. and 6 p.m, Dec. 16-19, you can cozy up by the digital fire. Sounds great, and it's free!
At BAM: Enjoy four performances of the New York Premiere of A Piece of Work, a version of Hamlet unlike everything you've ever seen. Each night before the curtain, a computer will generate a new version of the play every night — and one actor will have to tackle it. Sounds crazy! It's $20, maybe give it a shot!
