Arts Calendar: What's Up at BRIC and BAM?

It's Monday, and that means it's time to take a look at this week in the arts. We are, after all, living at the center of the newly-christened Brooklyn arts corridor.

Here's a sampling of what's going on this week at BRIC House and BAM. 

BRIC House: On Saturday, Oct. 26, you can see Brooklyn-based contemporary jazz trio The Bad Plus for the bargain-basement price of $18. Seriously, strap your jazz boots on and get to BRIC House. 

BAM: If contemporary music isn't your thing, maybe it's time to drift forward in time a little bit. That's where BAM comes in. Questlove is your host for Electronium: The Future Was Then. It's a blending of electronic music and a host of other styles, with an all-star collection of modern musicians from The Roots' drummer to beatboxer Rahzel.
