The "Brooklyn Reform Coalition" will host a Mayoral Forum for the public to hear directly from the Democratic candidates on issues important to the community. Hal Friedman, president of coalition member club Independent Neighborhood Democrats, stated: "This Forum will provide an excellent opportunity to hear the candidates' views on how they intend to make our city government work more effectively and fairly... We will identify and advocate for policies that counter the corrosive forces of corruption that hurt New Yorkers in a serious way." 4. Nerd out. Swing by The Way Station for Choirfly + Noah Redfield. Choirfly is NYC's premiere nerd-themed a cappella group. Founded in 2011 by Rachel Rakov, Choirfly's members share a love of singing in addition to their affections of comic books, video games, sci-fi, RPGs, and fantasy.
