White Castle Hits Waverly — For One Day

A fast food commercial was shot on Waverly Ave on Friday

Waverly Ave. became part of a fast food kingdom Friday as a camera crew filmed a commerical for White Castle.

The block between Gates Ave. and Fulton St. had a couple skateboarding actors riding down it as cameras rolled. 

The shooting notification signs posted said the name of the project was "Popping Heads," but several crew members said it was a scene for an upcoming White Castle ad spot.

And for those who are more concerned with parking spaces than fast food, The shoot is slated to end at 6 p.m. and the street should be cleared soon after.
