PHOTO: Top Putnam Plaza Critic 'Caught In the Act'

FACT's Schellie Hagan takes a load off at new outdoor space.

It's no secret that Schellie Hagan isn't a fan of the new Putnam Pedestrian Plaza. She's gathered signatures, and, most recently, helped organize a to vent frustration over the project and its sponsor, the Fulton Area Business Alliance.

So it seemed strange that Patch reader would find Hagan on the plaza on a sunny day, seemingly enjoying a relaxing moment in the shade while sitting on one of FAB's distinctive green chairs.

To her credit, Hagan reacted goodnaturely to news of the photo.

"The tables and chairs are there and I'm not such a hardliner that I wouldn't sit on them," Hagan said. "But I think it's kind of a weak statement. We shouldn't have lost our street for it."
