Top Dog: Enter the King and Queen Canines of Fort Greene Photo Contest

Submit photos of your favorite pooch to Fort Greene-Clinton Hill Patch for a chance to win $600 worth of pet-friendly prizes.

Everyone knows their dog is the best dog.

Now Patch is giving you the chance to prove it—and pick up some serious pet swag at the same.

Here's how it works:

Send in or upload your best photo of a favorite pooch residing in Fort Greene or Clinton Hill to be entered into the King and Queen of Fort Greene Photo Contest. (Contest is open to all residents over 18 years old...that's 18 human years)

You can submit your photo into this post by simply clicking one of the "Upload Photos and Videos" buttons above (it’s super easy—just make sure you are a registered user first).

Or you can email the picture to Fort Greene-Clinton Hill Patch editor Paul Leonard at paul.leonard@patch.com.

Along with the image, please include your name as well as the dog's name.

We will be collecting submissions from Saturday, Aug. 18 until Wednesday, Aug. 22 at 5 p.m. Our friends at ProspectBark will then pare down the entries to the top five male and female dogs.

Then it's up to our readers to vote in the comments section of the article—which will be posted on Aug. 25 and runs through 5 p.m. on Aug. 29—on which two pups will earn neighborhood wagging rights.

The two dogs voted by you as King and Queen will each receive a prize package worth $600 in sweet treats that include:

A gift basket from ($50), a comprehensive exam and complementary microchip from ($100), a training session from Calm Energy Dog Training ($150), a professional pet photo session from Jenna Leigh Teti Photography ($200) and a staycation from ProspectBark ($100).
