Hurricane Sandy Photos: Share Yours!

See some interesting or unusual sites as Sandy hits Brooklyn? Post it on Patch!

Fort Greene Patch Editor Paul Leonard snapped this dramatic shot of storm surge waters flooding Van Brunt St. in Red Hook Monday morning and sent it in with his camera phone.

While authorities warn against going outside during the storm, you might be able to catch some surprising sites right from your window.

So if you spot something, let your fellow Patch readers see for themselves.

To submit a photo or video from your computer, click the "Upload Photos and Videos" button above. Or even easier, you can send them directly from your phone to: robert.myers@patch.com.

We'll add them to this gallery for the world to see.

But most of all, remember to be safe.

These photos show an uprooted tree falling on and damaging 2 cars on 8th street between 7th and 8th. The photo of the red car shows how this inconsiderate fool parked on the bumper of one of the cars that was hit by the tree. Now the owner of the damaged car has to wait for the fool who parked him in to move his car. You should get a ticket for blocking someone in like this. We don't need selfish fools like this in our community where most of us look out for each other.
