Carroll Gardens: Carroll Gardens' Fashion-Forward Thug Caught!
The man responsible for robbing six people at knifepoint over the past week in Carroll Gardens has been caught.

Cops say the individual—known for his loud fashion ensembles and pattern of approaching victims, asking for a dollar, then whipping out at knife or box cutter—was brought in to custody through the successful joint operation between the 76th Precinct and transit units.

Fort Greene-Clinton Hill: 
BAM Park Orange Mesh Mystery (Sort Of) Solved Anyone walking Thursday afternoon by BAM Park, located where Fulton Street, Lafayette Avenue and St. Felix Street come together, might have noticed something different about the green space.  

Orange mesh was strewn across the trees and wrapped around the gazebo, and a man could be seen taking photos of the situation. So, what was going on? After some back-and-forth with the photographer ("What does it mean to you?" he asked more than once), Fort Greene Patch learned the new additions to the park are part of an art display in conjunction with the Brooklyn Academy of Music (BAM). 

Bed-Stuy: Man Shot on Hancock Thursday MorningPolice are asking the public's assistance in locating the whereabouts of the person responsible for shooting a 23-year-old man early Thursday morning on Hancock St. 

According to police, on Thursday, May 23, at approximately 2:24 a.m., police received a 911 call of shots fired in the vicinity of Hancock St and Patchen Ave. Cops arrived on the scene, canvassed the area and recovered one bullet shell casing from in front of 723 Hancock Street. They did not see a victim. However, after calling around to local hospitals, police were able to identify one victim, Francis Lakim, who had been injured at the location. 

He was at Woodhull Hospital with one gunshot wound to his chest. He remains in critical condition.

Grooming Technician Roneisha Humes recalled the time a bulldog was brought in with an unfortunate self-inflicted injury. 

"We had a bulldog that their eye had popped out," she said. 

Ditmas Park: 
"Boo-ga Mooga:" Festival Goers Upset by Sunday Cancelation

Hopeful festival goers who were set on attending the Sunday installment of the second annual Great GoogaMooga were sorely disappointed with its cancelation.

Due to poor weather, the New York City Parks Department, Prospect Park Alliance, and GoogaMooga decided to cancel the festival "in the interest of safety and prevention of damage to the park grounds," according to a representative from GoogaMooga.
