Fort Greene: Your Week in Review

What went down in Brooklyn this week?

Here's a few of the things that went down in your neighborhood and around Brooklyn this week:

Local leaders remembered anti-apartheid activist Nelson Mandela, who died on Thursday at 95.

Things went from bad to worse for the Brooklyn Nets, who just can't seem to do anything right anymore.

Mayor-elect Bill de Blasio made his pick for police commissioner, and it's former NYPD head honcho William Bratton.

Councilwoman-elect Laurie Cumbo blamed the recent spate of Crown Heights "knockout" attacks on community tension in an open letter.

Local leaders circulated a petition to get a new promise of affordable housing at the Atlantic Yards site.
