Fistful of Dollars
A 50-year-old male was arrested by police at 343 Myrtle Ave. for robbery and assault. The man approached a woman on May 3 around 9:00 p.m. and snatched $50 from her purse. A second witness tried to stop him from fleeing the scene and was punched in the nose, causing swelling and bleeding.

Violent Robbery
Police are searching for an unidentified man after he put a 38-year-old female in a chokehold near 50 Greene Ave at 10:30 p.m. on May 6, and forcefully removed her pocketbook. Debit cards, a red cell phone and a sterling bracelet with diamond chips were inside of the pocketbook. The woman suffered minor scrapes to her chin and right knee.

Or You Could Have Just Quit...
A 15-year-old male was charged with grand larceny after stealing the debit card of his former employee, a 26 year old female at the 7-11 on 39th Flatbush Ave., and withdrawing $200 on May 3 from an ATM at the Macy's on 420 Fulton St. He then made a $252 purchase at the same location that afternoon.
Car Theft
A 2006 Nissan Sentra with New York license plates has been reported as stolen by a 31-year-old woman. She entered Zion Church on 550 Washington Ave. on May 4 at 4:00 p.m., only to find her car missing when she returned. There was no sign of broken glass on the ground, and a canvas of the neighborhood afterwards yielded no clues.
