Celebrate the Arts With This Week's FAB Friday
Lots of deals and fun events along Fulton Street from more than 40 businesses
Friday the 13th doesn't have to be unlucky after all.
The Fulton Area Business Alliance (FAB) kicks off it's monthly FAB Friday this week, with over 40 businesses along Fulton Street in Clinton Hill and Fort Greene participating in the event. With activities ranging from extended happy hours, artist receptions and live music, and even a specialty cocktail from that's being sold just for the day, there's something for everyone at this roving party that extends well into the night.
"We want to introduce people to businesses that they didn't know were there," said Phillip Kellogg," Manager at FAB.

This FAB Friday also takes place the day before the SONYA Studio Stroll, a self-guided tour of studios and galleries throughout the Fort Greene, Clinton Hill, Wallabout and Bed-Stuy neighborhoods.
"What makes this neighborhood so special is the artistic community," said Kellogg. "Because there are five or six places on the tour that are near Fulton Street, one of the things we wanted to do was connect to the visual arts while also encourage people to see what the event has to offer."
