BAM Park Orange Mesh Mystery (Sort Of) Solved

New addition part of art display, further explanation to come Tuesday.

Anyone walking Thursday afternoon by BAM Park, located where Fulton Street, Lafayette Avenue and St. Felix Street come together, might have noticed something different about the green space.

Orange mesh was strewn across the trees and wrapped around the gazebo, and a man could be seen taking photos of the situation.

So, what was going on? After some back-and-forth with the photographer ("What does it mean to you?" he asked more than once), Fort Greene Patch learned the new additions to the park are part of an art display in conjunction with the Brooklyn Academy of Music (BAM).

A walking tour of the space will be conducted at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, May 28, with a question and answer period to follow.
