We here at Greenmarket would like to remind the lovely community of Fort Greene that the Saturday Fort Greene Greenmarket (November 3rd) will be OPEN for business with almost all producers present. Hurricane Sandy has been devastating for many in our region and Greenmarket is working hard to continue to provide access to fresh, local, seasonal foods.
All of the Brooklyn weekend Greenmarkets will be open and we are looking for the community's help in ensuring that the Fort Greene Greenmarket's farmers have adequate parking and drop off space for their trucks this Saturday morning.
Please help us remind your neighbors that the Greenmarket will be there on Washington Park between Willoughby and Dekalb and we need your help enforcing the no parking zone (Saturdays 6am to 6pm, park side).
