Cause of Deadly Boating Accident In Question

A short ride celebratory boat ride ends fatally when a boat struck the side of one of three barges that were lashed together at a construction site near the Tappan Zee Bridge, 25 miles north of Manhattan.

Hitting a barge on a Friday Night is a red flag --  that fact in-itself alone questions if there were any safety measures in place.

According to an attorney for the two families, "You could have been sober as a judge and run into invisible barges in the middle of navigable waterway in the middle of the night," Mr. Mercante said. "He was on course and it happened to be a deadly course."

How tragic for all the families. The anguish surviving family members must be going through, especially the fiance losing his bride-to-be and best man. It's just an unreal nightmare -- one that everyone want to wake-up from.
