Normally trying to live up to our name, The Secret Sipper today is only interested in gulping down the necessary amount of caffeine to get through a busy (yet short!) workweek.
Hence the Cafe Verona—the Starbucks coffee that could. It's a strong, but smooth brew that can either be sipped or guzzled down with the gusto of the most robust of java champions (just make sure it's only lukewarm first).
Today we're pairing it with my near-favorite of all guity pleasures: The Dark Chocolate Covered Grahams, with a concentrated dose of sugar that goes nicely with the high-octane Verona.
A grande Cafe Verona is $2; The Dark Chocolate Grahams, $1.70.
Fort Greene's Starbucks is located at Atlantic Terminal, 139 Flatbush Ave. (closest entrance directly over LIRR tracks).

If you were just looking for a caffeine fix then we'll overlook your endorsement of the ever spreading, all consuming, virus of coffee shop.
We know you enjoy a local brew more than bucks.
Don't hurt your cred SS!

Shop, eat local and keep out of these big chain stores. This is NYC, not Ohio!
