Longtime Rep. says, 'I find myself going to more and more funerals.'

1. Those of us wondering how the untimely death of Whitney Houston has affected our representative to Congress—wonder no more. In WNYC's The Empire blog, Rep. Ed Towns, D-Brooklyn, penned this rather moving tribute to the great singer, writing, "Like millions of her fans, I will miss Whitney Houston and the world will be a lesser place now that her voice is silenced."
