Officer Suffers Seizure While On Duty In Fort Greene

Incident occurred late Monday evening at Washington and Greene avenues.

Officers at the 88th Precinct, which covers Fort Greene and Clinton Hill, got a scare Monday evening when one their own suffered a seizure while on duty.

The officer was taken to New York Methodist Hospital, where he was listed in stable condition.

At the time of the incident, the officer was working "impact" overtime — a system allowing the NYPD to send extra patrols into designated areas, according to police.
