Myrtle Ave. Building Gutted By 2010 Fire Sees Renaissance

It was a ferocious Easter Day fire that displaced many residents and several businesses.

Now, almost two years after the April 4 blaze that gutted the structure at 352-360 Myrtle Ave., businesses are beginning to creep back into the ground floor spaces that serve this bustling corner of Fort Greene.

According to the Myrtle Avenue Brooklyn Partnership, the building's leasing representatives at Gway Mangement Company are making steady progress in filling the space with new tenants.

Among the businesses already back are Little Louie's Pizza, which returned only months after the fire, and Noah's Bridal.

Soon joining them will be the latest Brooklyn outpost of Burgers Ur Way, with locations already open on Remsen Street in Brooklyn Heights and across the street from Kings County Hospital.

That leaves one commercial vacancy available at the building, according to MABP. The 950-square-foot space is renting for $3,995 a month.
