Habana Outpost Makes Top 10 Sandwich List

Pork-and-pickle-filled favorite gets honors.

A longtime favorite for diners from Brooklyn to Malibu just got another feather in its pulled-pork, pickled and baguette-d cap.

The posh lifestyle website Refinery29 picked 's Cuban as one of its Top 10 sandwiches in NYC.

Noting that the sandwich "doesn't look like much" at first glance, the site goes on to praise the deliciousness of the Cuban's food collage of pork, pickle and toasted bread.

Habana's Fulton Street location is one of three restaurants opened by Sean Meenan, who served his first Cuban back in 1998.

Plenty of other Brooklyn restaurants also made Refinery29's sandwich shortlist, including 's mackerel on sesame, the oven roasted turkey at Smith Canteen, both in Carroll Gardens, and basically everything at Saltie, which is in (burp!) Williamsburg.
