Three architecture firms have been working with input provided directly by the community, including during the public workshop held in June 2012 where more than 100 people weighed in on the development of the area.

Areas of improvement considered while drafting the plan include community needs and concerns such as, the FAB Alliance notes, "the design and usage of public spaces; relationships between pedestrians, cars, and bikes; opportunities for vacant lots and underutilized spaces; environmental initiatives; accessibility for an aging population; retail mix; and sense of place."

"The ideas presented here are intended to inspire conversations about what is possible along Fulton Street," the site says.

The ideas and concepts in this draft were presented outdoors at multiple locations as part of the three-day exhibit held in November and December 2012. It has been reformatted for online viewing and is available to download now.
