Church of Betty at BAMCafé

Tabla- and sitar-based mashups get some time in the spotlight.

1. BAMCafé All-Stars series continues with the “brilliant” (Billboard) Indo-pop sextet Church of Betty, which specializes in tabla- and sitar-driven mashups of American rock and Indian classical music. Led by frontman Chris Rael and tabla guru Deep Singh, the group fits ragas into rock—making way for seamless and compelling listening.

2. Improve your physical fitness level at Fort Greene Crosstraining Fitness Bootcamp with Ken N. and Sam Gaberal at Fort Greene Park tonight at 6 p.m. The group will meet at the Prison Ship Martyrs' Monument. Classes are $15.

3. Henry V wraps up its run at Irondale Center tonight and Saturday night, with tickets priced at $20 with code HCMI when purchased online.

4. In case you missed it: The New York State Supreme Court upheld a law barring prison-based gerrymandering in upstate districts. Assemblyman Hakeem Jeffries, D-Fort Greene, was a chief proponent of the bill.

5. Alternate side parking rules are back in effect.
